Testosterone chipping (hormone replacement therapy) is a treatment in which small pellets or chips are inserted under the skin, releasing the hormone steadily over several months. This therapy is primarily used to replace low hormone levels in the body, such as in the case of hypogonadism. Low levels cause low energy, fatigue, decreased libido, loss of muscle mass, and depression.
